How to create notifications using occ for all users? #148
Comments
The current occ seems quite restrictive, you only can send a notification to a specific user or group, being the group prioritized over the user if both options are specified. It isn't possible to send a notification to all the users. I'll need specifications if we want this to be implemented. It should be possible to send a notifications to several users and groups without any collision too. |
@pmaier1 useful as an admin feature for large installations to provide info on maintenance schedules. Can you produce a user story / use case and prioritise? |
This is what the announcement center was built for .... Due to the bigger amount of notifications which need to be processed when sending to all users the annoucement center uses background jobs for dispatching |
So ... won't fix from my pov |
