FR: Select Multiple Files

I searched but couldn't find any discussion about adding bulk file selection that would mirror the native file explorer (Shift+Click for ranges, Alt+Click for individual files) to the File Tree Alternative. It would enable selecting multiple files simultaneously for operations like move/delete. Since this basic file explorer functionality hasn't been implemented yet, there may be technical limitations worth documenting.
