Both StrEmbed and step_parse are very big and unwieldy. How to split into smaller chunks to make it easier to test and visualise? Some ideas (add more later):

  • Pod off anything related to file loading/reading, i.e. "data exchange"
  • Separate anything related to graph theory (difficult)
  • ADD MORE LATER...
  • All would need to be wrapped into higher-level pipeline-like scripts with spec + refactored import structure
