**This is another Website's Login Screen**
Login.Bad.mp4
The other Log In screen clearly differentiates between log in and sign up methods.
Ours leads the user to at minimum believe that logging in and signing up can both be done through external authentication, which is not the case. It does this by not clearly defining when external site authentication can be used, and by directly suggesting it through the text "Or use", with no specific reference to logging in.
Reproduction
Be a new user and assume that you're allowed to register using
Expected behavior
Something that clearly communicates that External Authenticators can only be used after initially linking your account after logging in. Or a specific reference to logging in while clearly excluding account registering/creation.

Additional context
I filled this as a Bug Report as I feel that user experience was not adequately considered when creating the UI for this feature. Furthermore, it's reported commonly by Users as a bug here and in Discord when it's simply terrible UI design.

Um. This I guess is a UI issue? But I found this personally intuitive enough.
I agree we making it clear the right side is to login is good, but what does new account vs register say? Ideally we don't show a form until we know, but that also isn't standard procedure. I think we only need to update right side with "sign in with". I don't think we need to update the form itself.
It is extremely common for websites to have a login page, and a register button. I might agree when pressing register it should open a dedicated form instead of registering you with the credentials inputted
