CoverUI Protocol

This repository provides tools and documentation for working with the CoverUI communication protocol.

Contents

  • CoverUI-Protocol.xlsx: A spreadsheet with rough protocol documentation, containing demos, examples, and explanations of key aspects. (Note: There are still bits, that need some further investigation.)
  • mainboard-imitator: Code for emulating the mainboard, which is connected to CoverUI (Note: Currently for DEMO/POC purpose).
  • protocol-listener: A tool for listening to and analyzing protocol messages between original CoverUI and Mainboard.

Purpose

This project is intended for personal learning and to add missing functionality. It is an independent project with no affiliation to the original manufacturer of the CoverUI device.
