Suggestion here:

Under auspices of R Aggregate, Meet, Greet Meetup.. , I like to see if any interest in joining me in studying R and RANDOM WALK , which seems to be one possible introduction to time series and many more topics in different fields.
( value at time t is "close to" the value at t-1, with addition of random or error piece).

I am at "the shallow end of pool", perhaps even the "kiddie pool" So I envision this as half learning/practicing R and half working through some of theory/applications.

People who are eager to plunge into advanced stochastic models, Black- Scholes options might be bored, though of course welcome.

Don't have a book, but plenty of YouTube videos, readings. Prefer to try to meet face-to-face (1, 2, 3, 4, times a month?) but on-line of course as well. Thoughts?

Feel free to meet as a sub group of the aggregate meetup, during the meetup itself - unless the group of people interested in this want to meet separately, up to you
