indicator colors on a switch - driving me nuts

I want to change the INDICATOR color. But I cannot find the name of the attribute. If I use background it changes the color on the top of the switch knob. I do not want that. I want to change the indicator part..

I just cannot find it... have searched... is driving me crazy. The part that is blue in this image:

I am sorry if this is obvious to others. Please let me know ?

the answer is background-color
it may also be helpful to use: background-color: red !important;
