I looked around and couldn't find a way to change the font size when exporting to PDF (or in the live preview). Is such an option available? I use Times New Roman for a stage play and the standard size seems just a little bit too big for me (also I want to compare with other plays so I can estimate the length...).
The implementation in vscode is superb though, this provides such a simple and straightforward tool to concentrate on writing.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible with the current PDF Renderer. It's way too "stiff" and bad at complex layouts to allow for this kind of flexibility.
This feature will be included whenever I get around to rewriting the PDF Renderer, possibly as part of betterfountain standalone, but either way this will unfortunately take a while as it's a considerable amount of work...
