I would like VoiceNotify to do announcements only when at certain locations.

Possible ways to detect locations:

  • WiFi access point presence;
  • Bluetooth device presence;
  • GPS location proximity (might not work well indoors);
  • connected to power (Tasker enable/disable method #75)

WiFi AP presence would be the best and sufficient for me.

One location would be sufficient for me, but I think it is reasonable to expect some people would find it useful to have multiple locations.

Edit: found the issue #75 that has similar end goal.
I use Automate rather than Tasker to solve some very niche problems, but I think this feature is useful enough to be a part of VoiceNotify itself.
