Introduction

For some Pretzel installations it will be desirable for public datasets to be visible without requiring the user to login. This will make Pretzel available to a broader audience, reduce the friction of access, and in future facilitate displaying data via a URL.

Description

When enabled, it will be possible for a user to access Pretzel datasets without first logging in.
This mode of operation will be read-only; all edit operations will be disabled : upload, group, multi-server, dataset metadata edit, feature QTL Trait / Ontology edit.

Planning

This item is on the future road-map, not planned in the short term.
