Currently, adding a low cost cloud provider such as Linode or Civo is pretty far down on our roadmap. Adding new cloud providers is non-trivial, as it requires us to onboard every application in our marketplace for the new provider. Additionally, it requires us to set up entirely new test infrastructure for the cloud provider.
If you're interested in a low-cost option, we're exploring this and other options with our existing providers, but would love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
