Issue/Bug description:
When adjusting slider values, such as brightness or sound, the displayed value unexpectedly disappears and does not reappear until the applet options are closed and reopened.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Move the brightness/sound slider in respective applets in panel

Expected behavior:

  • Value shouldn't disappear at any point
