I wanted to add theme support for my cosmic app, released as flatpak, but it seems it require a patch in flatpak-builder-lint for every apps (see flathub-infra/flatpak-builder-lint#430), which is unfortunate .

The solution mentioned was to use the settings portal. Is it planned/suitable for cosmic ?

I would be happy to contribute it but i don't have experience in portal, so i would appreciate some directions
