I am finding that typing chords simply do not lead to the function of the program. I have been using Zipchord for some time
but function seems to have become a lot less reliable.
E.g., I have a line in the input file "as{Backspace}" (useful for touch typing, to avoid the long journey to the backspace key).
What I get is either "as" or "sa". Occasionally it does what I want, backspacing, If it does, I can repeat it but if I go on typing and try again it reverts to typing "as" or "sa". Other chords behave similarly, though Zipchord seems to work better when the chord and output consist of letters only.
I am using Zipchord 2.2.0 on Windows 10 with a Matias keyboard.
I attach images of settings.

John Sampson
