Artifact media type and referrers API were recently introduced we might want to add support to that.

@lubosmj this ticket might need to be split into 2. I think 1) add support for artifact mediatype 2) add support for refferers API. I am suggesting to start with the former and create a separate ticket once you get more info for the 2.

Per my understanding the audit was completed and needed issues were filed separately. This issue was transformed into an EPIC to track the remaining work.
