Rantr

Rantr is a social media web application that allows users to create posts and share them on their profiles. Users can also react to posts anonymously using emojis. Rantr is developed by a team of eight members as a project for CS 230.

Features

Create posts and share them on your profile. React to posts using emojis anonymously. View other users' posts in the recommended tab. Delete your own posts.

Motivation

Welcome to Rantr, a unique platform where you can vent your frustrations and express your opinions without fear of judgment or repercussions. We are a team of passionate college students studying computer science, who understand the importance of having a space to voice your thoughts. With Rantr, you can share your experiences and ideas anonymously and receive reactions from other users who can relate to your feelings. Our goal is to provide a safe and inclusive community where you can be yourself and connect with others who share your views. So go ahead, let it all out, and join us on this exciting journey of expressing ourselves freely!

Getting Started

To run Rantr on your local machine, follow these steps:

Clone the repository to your local machine:

gh repo clone WVU-CS230-2023-01-Group12/Rantr

Install dependencies:

angular, bootstrap, firebase

Run the app:

ng serve Navigate to http://localhost:4200/ in your browser.
