pair casa touch with logi bolt receiver #2686
Comments
Solaar is just reporting on what the receiver is asking for and doesn't know anything about how that might be achieved in the Casa touch. If you have access to a Windows machine and can install the Logitech software on it you could try pairing there. |
I tried on a windows machine but the result was the exact same. It's not a
bug but if we understand what needs to be done maybe we can add additional
description in Solaar to make the process straightforward.

https://logiwebconnect.com instead of using the terms "right click", "left
click" and "both" uses "one finger", "two finger", and "three finger" taps
so it's less confusing. I think that would be a great change for Solaar
when it detects a type of touchpad.
Sincerely,
Justin Sunseri

It needs a three finger tap at the end.

What type of keyboard? Solaar doesn't have quirks for particular models. |
It's a Casa Touch. It's not a keyboard, it's a trackpad.
Sincerely,
Justin Sunseri

What could be done is to add a message from Solaar saying what the left, right, and both are for trackpads, but this would show all the time. |
Information
using Solaar 1.1.13 on Fedora 41
Describe the bug
when trying to pair the casa touch it asks for a series of left and right clicks and then a simultaneous right and left click. it is not very obvious how to achieve this. is it possible to change to a multi finger swipe up or swipe down?
