We could:

  • subclass NotImplementedError for operations that are not supported by the specific driver, and
  • in particular, subclass once further for specific categories of error, e.g. SweeperError for a sweeper that could not be implemented

This could be done in a driver-agnostic way, since the operations to be supported are defined by Qibolab.
