Welcome to the community discussions board, the place for discussing things related to Volume Control!

Before downloading anything, we recommend using virustotal to download & scan it for viruses first.

Rules

1. Obviously don't break the GitHub Community Guidelines.
2. Be Respectful.
3. Stay on Topic.
4. Keep Posts in the Most Relevant Category.
5. No Advertising Paid or Closed-Source Content/Software.

   • Advertising refers to material posted for promotional purposes.

   • Paid Software refers to any software that cannot be used without purchasing, donating, or the forfeiture of individual privacy, freedom, or autonomy.
     This does not include software where the above conditions are violated by optional features, so long as it is possible to use the software without ever violating the above conditions.

   • Closed-Source Software refers to any software that does not provide the full source code without request and the ability for users to compile the software themselves without the usage of paid software.

     ⚠️ Note:

     The above rule purposefully does not restrict your ability to advertise addons **(for Volume Control) that require paid or closed-source software in order to use.

Profanity is allowed so long as it is respectful of other people, regardless of their associations, opinions, or experiences.

With that said, here are some guidelines as to what kind of content is, and isn't, allowed.

What shouldn't I use discussions for?

• Breaking the Rules.
• Reporting Bugs.
• Advertising anything that isn't related to Volume Control or addons for Volume Control.
• Searching the Internet
• Asking what you should make for dinner.
• Any other unrelated topics.

What should I use discussions for?

• Sharing addons that you created.

  ❗ Important:

  Do not post addons that you do not have permission to redistribute, unless you have substantially modified it in some way.

    Discussions about feature requests are not the same as feature requests.
    Feature discussions are for getting feedback on ideas from the community & the developer team.

    In order to receive developer attention, feature requests must be submitted through the issue tracker!
