@leithaus would prefer not to use metamask; is comfortable giving a private key to software he can audit.

@dckc sees too much UX risk to take on the coding

custom deploy with @tgrospic 's tool remains an option

While I said I won't write code that manages (real) private keys, I must admit thinking about resuming work on https://github.com/rchain-community/RSign .

I'm thinking about using TOTP.

I think @tgrospic said something about WebAuthn.
