I’ve made a shortcut for xCloud that looks like this:

It will open “Xbox.com/play” in your default web browser. If you have more than one browser installed on your device, using the shortcut for the first time you should see a prompt where you can select “Open with: Kiwi Browser” and “Always”.

As sideloaded Kiwi Browser won’t show up on the default Android TV launcher, I’ve made this to make using “Better xCloud” on Android TV more easy.

And maybe also useful for Android TV users:

I've found and installed a "fullscreen" chrome extension that also works with Kiwi on Android. This will add a "Fullscreen" entry to Kiwi's app menu, so you can toggle fullscreen mode from there. If your remote has a dedicated menu button, you can open Kiwi's app menu with it and then use your remote's d-pad to select it.

Or if your remote doesn't have a menu button, you can do it like me and install the "Button Mapper" app and trigger the "menu" action by long pressing one of your controller buttons. Personally I use long press "Start" to open Kiwi's app menu.

There is also an option in Kiwi's accessibility settings to show extensions first in the app menu. So if you enable it, you will have "Tampermonkey" and the "Fullscreen" option on top.

Kiwi Browser also has a GitHub page. Where they release more frequent updates than on PlayStore. So as Android TV users have to sideload Kiwi anyway, you could also grab it from there:

And as using “Better xCloud” on Android TV needs some sort of “mouse support” to interact with the script’s settings, you might also want to have a look at this app:

It will give you an on screen mouse cursor that you can move with your remote’s d-pad. It doesn’t feel very comfortable to use but for me it’s enough if I just want to quickly change a setting.

… that will also work without enabling ADB in the developer options. Which might not be accessible on some Android TV devices.
