Plugin doesn't work with Live Preview

Basically, when I navigate using opt-up or opt-down in the legacy editor the plugin performs as expected (opt-up goes to the beginning of a paragraph, opt-down goes to the end of a paragraph), but in Live Preview doing either of those actions does not perform the expected behavior.

Addition: Navigation (in live preview) works for me with ONE exception. If I try moving to the beginning of a paragraph WITHIN a (bulleted or numbered) List, the cursor moves to the beginning of the first paragraph, but not to the next. (OPTION+ARROW UP) . Outside of lists this works fine

OPTION+ARROW DOWN works also in lists.
