Unfortunately, I have to use windows, but I try to use Linux with any software that does not require windows. I do this in VM's and WSL2, which is kinda like a closer to the hardware VM, with less overhead.
What happened:
During all times any version of WSL2 distro (Debian, NixOS, etc,) tried to do any type of networking, was blocked. This includes network scanning, updating packages, etc,)
What did you expect to happen?:
For there to be not issue with networking. If it makes any of the development team feel better, WSL2 is open-source; https://github.com/microsoft/WSL2-Linux-Kernel
How did you reproduce it?:
Do any type of networking (update packages) in WSL.
