Portmaster in tray bar not responding #340
Comments
That's definitely a strange bug. It should open a context menu when you click on the tray. Did ever you encounter this issue before reinstalling Windows? |
Yup i know, it worked flawlessly before reinstalling Windows. (other than the DNS issue) Edit: It appears that the issue occurs a little while after booting up |
Is this still an issue? Because in #341 you mentioned it resolved after rebooting. |
I'm just gonna close this for now since it seems to be a me issue 🥴 |
if this issue remains on your device it likely is not a "me issue" and will happen at others too. So please let us know if this happens again. Only the minority of users report issues so knowing when these things happen is super valuable to us! |
Yeeee but its hard to give troubleshooting steps when its a configure once and leave alone software, so for now we have a first appearance timestamp and hopefully one of us will spot the issue again with a bit more details.. |
Hello there. I don't think this is just a "me" (your) problem. It sounds a lot like #1105 (and it's marked duplicate #1283), to me. And I have similar problems, the tray icon suddenly not reacting, needs to be shut down in task manager and reopened from start menu. I haven't been able to establish a pattern of when this happens or so... But just to say, it doesn't seem like it's only on your computer. |
Backstory: I reinstalled Windows a few days ago, and ever since installing Portmaster the icon in the tray bar is not responding
What happened:
Tried to open Portmaster Notifier from the Tray bar, left or right click does not work.
What did you expect to happen?:
For the program to open 👀
How did you reproduce it?:
Well.. For me it happens every time
