Authentication options with v3

With v3, will there be more / different authentication options?

Our use case:
We use GCP for our cloud platform and would like to store secrets for 3rd party apis there as opposed to sanity. Could we either

• authenticate the sanity token in a microservice we control
• have access to our google token to then use that to authenticate with GCP services

We aren't a big enough org to use the plan with SSO, so this is really about finding alternatives 🤷
