Hey,

I would like to know if it could be simplest to put in another repository only the stuff that change, like new controllers, models, views and config files for example, because the current version of Codeigniter is 2.0.4 if think and your version of the CI project is 2.0.2. It could be useful to only fork the new stuff into ours current Codeigniter projects.

For example, maybe don't put the core directory because you didn't change anything inside.
If you have another idea about this question, it could be useful.

Thank you :)

Actually, it is 2.1.4 current version. But don't think it'd made the problem for this piece of code.
Read the changing log in user guide to see what is fixed.

Ok, 2.1.4 not 2.0.4.
If I want a version of CI in 2.1.4 and this admin panel, maybe the best solution should be to fork this repo and after the 2.1.4 repo of CI to apply the changes of the new version ?

Thank you.

Did you read change log as I suggest you?
There is no difference for controller/model coding.
I think most difference is between versions 1.7.2 and 2.x.x.
Just google for it and compare.

I understood what you said.
I just ask to know if it could be easier and simplest to just make a repo with only the new files to add to an basic Codeigniter project, whatever his version.

Thanks

Apokyl, Did you come up with a way to see just the required files?

Hi @ddoddsr .

I finally switched to Ruby on Rails so i'm not using CodeIgniter anymore. I haven't created a repository with only new files.

Dear Sapienza,
I don't know why I'm receiving messages from this repository. But I know
I'm using your CI admin panel application. It really helped me out.
Thanks for your help
