Testing again in Chrome desktop. When I try to search some text in the loaded epub —framed mode— using the regular Cmd + F (macOS), the text is found (the search box shows something like "Found 1/7") but doesn't come into view automatically. Works fine in vertical and horizontal modes.
As a suggestion, maybe Bibi could detect the keystrokes which invoke the search prompt, or maybe implement its own search function, or just switch to vertical/horizontal mode before triggering the browser's search feature.
