The Valkyrie and Hyku version upgrade has changed the way that text appears on Collection homepages. Text in the description field was accepting formatting as entered on the back end (basically just line breaks, nothing else), and after the upgrade it has defaulted to all one paragraph. Folks, I'm sorry I didn't notice this until now--it may have been on staging during testing, but I didn't see.
This wouldn't be a high priority issue except that we have a significant collection that we want to respect. It's the manuscript collection of Dr. Eva B. Dykes, the first African American woman to complete the requirements for a doctoral degree in this country (she isn't the first to receive the degree simply because of the date of her graduation, which was later in the spring). All this to say that the formatting of the collection introductory text was important to the school that contributed the material. It was written by a scholar who was also Dr. Dykes' adopted son. He inserted formatting that we want to retain, and the page was showing the formatting as entered prior to the recent upgrade. I'm sorry I don't have a screenshot of it before upgrade, but you can see that the formatting was entered when you view the description field from the edit page.
Can you fix the collection pages so that they once again accept line breaks?
