Feature Request: Assignment already submitted notice

From a student perspective, when looking at a list of assignments due it is not apparent whether or not you have already submitted an assignment that is due soon. Instead, the big red background screams anxiety into students' souls (rightfully). However, even after opening the assignment page it is still not clear if you have submitted. The only way to finally tell is to click the "Make Submission" button again. This brings us to a third page where we must scroll all the way down to confirm our submissions.

I believe this could be made more apparent to the student. My suggestion is to put a little notice and timestamp of the last submission under the "Make Submission" link on the assignment page. Possibly, that link could also be changed to "Make Another Submission".
