Hi, I would like to try the script for my mariadb. I have read the details below
'To use backup MariaDB databases, specify CONFIG_mysql_dump_username and CONFIG_mysql_dump_password like you would with the SourceForge version.'
Because mariadb doesn't come with 'mysql_config_editor ' you advise Add login path by add username and password in config file, am i right?
When u mentioned '...with the SourceForge version'... meaning that I cannot use your script here?
Please advise me further. Thank you

Hey @chenoi,

you can use my version. However I've added the possibility to use MySQLs login path. Because of the fact that the login path possibility came after the mariadb fork, mariadb doesn't have this possibility of login right now. So you need use good old username and password in the config file. That's it.
