The metadata has to be updated in both places manually at the moment. We need a way to detect when the metadata has changed in the DE and push the updates to EZID.
- Need to have a pipeline for creating ARKs.
- Need to have a way to convert an ARK to a DOI.
- Update permanent identifier metadata automatically.
- Link versions of a data set with a permanent identifier.
- Allow users to provide comments to curators when requesting a DOI.
- Allow users to request an embargo for PIDs.
Need to find time to schedule this. Maybe talk to the rest of the team to see who has time available. Ramona also offered to help, so it might be beneficial to talk to her to see what kind of work she'd want to do.
