What is the nature of Multi? Uni<List<T>> or List<Uni<T>> ?

What is the nature of Multi? Uni<List<T>> or List<Uni<T>> ?
At first I thought Multi<T> was similar to Uni<List<T>>, but now I think Multi<T> is similar to List<Uni<T>>.
As the documentation says :
A Multi represents a stream of data. A stream can emit 0, 1, n, or an infinite number of items.
Does the stream here refer to the stream of the event or the stream of the item?
