How to use Tearing plugin

Hi,
I am new to SOFA and its tearing plugin. My sofa and tearing plugin version are both v23.12. Basically, I want to simulate membrane peeling by using sofa. And now I have following questions after reading instructions and some demos:

1. Do I have to include Tearing in the plugin required section in scn file when I want to tear a surface? If so, I can only edit the parameters of tearing engine in scn file, and I cannot see any gui options where I can change the tearing settings.
2. Another question is related to the example "src/examples/Demos/TriangularCutting.scn". Inside this scn file, I cannot see anything related to TearingEngine. However, tearing is possible by mouse clicking when opening this scn file. I am kind of confused about that.

In general, it will be great if you can explain to me the pipeline of using Tearing plugin,

Hi,

as already discussed in the issues. You need to add the plugin in your scene as you mention it: <RequiredPlugin name="tearing"/>
Then on how to use it, you can check the different examples here and there is also a small documentation

The TriangularCutting.scn in the main Demo folder of SOFA doesn't support the tearing, you could by editing the scene and adding the Tearing plugin as well as a TearingEngine, like in the examples.
