Collision of a catheter and a mesh

Hello,

I have made a script for the collision of a catheter and a mesh. I assume the mesh to be rigid and I have added the code of the mesh here:

    Floor.addObject('MeshTopology', position='@loader.position', triangles='@loader.triangles')

    Floor.addObject('TriangleCollisionModel', name='phantTriangleModel', simulated='0', moving='0')
    Floor.addObject('LineCollisionModel', name='phantLineModel', simulated='0', moving='0')
    Floor.addObject('PointCollisionModel', name='phantPointModel', simulated='0', moving='0')
    Floor.addObject('OglModel', name='phantomg', src='@loader', color='grey', scale='1', dx='70', dy='-6', dz='0')
    Floor.addObject('TriangleFEMForceField', name='FEM', template='Vec3d', youngModulus='35000000', poissonRatio='0.4',
                    method='large')
    Floor.addObject('MeshMatrixMass', totalMass='0.5')

Am I required to add a solver and a ConstraintCorrection element to this? I do get some force values but they are a bit further from what I measured with the same setup in real-time.

Hi @Slykkey

Solvers (integration scheme, linear solver) are required to solve a mechanical system, i.e. to compute the motion of an object.
ConstraintCorrection is an object which is required when solving the constraints defined on an object using Lagrange multipliers (response of the CollisionResponse = FrictionContactConstraint)
