We hope your 2024 summer started well!
This message aims at informing you that several levels of SOFA-related courses are available to help you improve your skills in the various aspects of the software.

As a simulation framework, SOFA requires skills in a number of areas, including: linear algebra, continuum mechanics, finite-element method, compliant robotics, collision detection and response, numerical analysis and time integration.

Most of courses being charged, note that what matters to us is that you improve your skills and you feel confident to contribute to the project. Therefore, if you don't have a budget but would like to contribute to the project, don't hesitate to request a free course.

Hi all,

On Thursday 8th of August, we might organize a free training session this summer. Our primary objective within the SOFA community is to enable you to work, publish, and contribute to the project effectively. If you possess this collaborative mindset but lack the necessary SOFA knowledge, we have 2 free seats left.

Before attending this session, we request that you follow the online course, attempt to build a first simulation, and review the user documentation. This training course could also be the opportunity to have some Q&A time.
