False positive: "To edit this post directly, add an Inner Content element to the template." #3582
Comments
Please could you let us know which version of Oxygen you are using? |
V 4.9 |
Thanks @harryfear Please open a Support Ticket (https://oxygenbuilder.com/support), and provide a staging environment where we can see the problem. We'll be glad to assist further. If you can also include a link to this discussion in that ticket, that would be appreciated. |
I've gone ahead and created a staging environment with everything stripped back apart from the problematic templates and plugin for demonstration purposes. I've opened a support ticket with screenshots. |
Thanks @harryfear. Did you receive the confirmation message from our contact form? If you didn't, please email [email protected] directly. |
No; no confirmation email. Just a confirmation on-screen message. I've sent an email with fresh staging login details. |
Thank you. |
Describe the bug
"Edit Template" appears with a warning "To edit this post directly, add an Inner Content element to the template." on a backend page single. We would instead expect to see "Edit with Oxygen", as the chosen template does indeed have an Inner Content element.
A link to a Sandbox site where the bug has been reproduced
I can't reproduce this in the sandbox for some reason: https://oxygen-qhgzzfx6p432l.oxygen-demo.qsandbox.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=21&action=edit
Further details
• The page in question does have its own Oxygen JSON.
• The template selected for the page definitely has an Inner Content element, as trying to add another generates the alert() warning "You cannot add more than one Inner Content component to a template.".
• Even with all other plugins disabled, the issue persists.
