I encounter the error too, and I am located in china mainland.Maybe the network issue like nuxt... ☹️

经过拉取 solid-start/examples/with-unocss 模板发现,npm i 时报错 ERR_PNPM_NO_MATCHING_VERSION  No matching version found for @solidjs/start@^1.0.0,表明没有该包。于是去 https://www.npmjs.com/package/@solidjs/start?activeTab=versions 查看,发现有该包,并且有下载数量

根据此推测是 npm 源地址的问题,因为为了提速大陆这边一般都设置了镜像地址,执行 npm config set registry https://registry.npmjs.org,修改为初始地址,重新 npm i,成功安装依赖(虽然慢了很多。安装成功后记得切换回镜像地址即可)

其实就是镜像地址还没有收录最新的版本,因为这个 "@solidjs/start": "^1.0.0", 刚发布的,所以 npm、pnpm 等报错,进而导致 pnpm create solid@latest 等命令失效。同理,尝试切换初始源地址,应该能解决该问题
