fix the DDOS bug

You know what it is, I'm creating an issue so I will be notified about it if/when it's fixed. I've noticed letting my computer fall asleep and just leaving it open for extended periods of time. This eventually will cause a bug with the gateway reconnect walk-back malfunctioning and starting to spam requests to the web socket without actually connecting to any of them, even if they manage to open. This will cause strain on the servers and also strain on the machine running the client eventually.
