How to add multiple authors to a newsArticle

Setting one author for a news article works perfectly with the following code:

   $newsArticle = new NewsArticle();
    $person = Schema::person();
    $person->name('John Doe);
    $person->url('https://example.com/about-us/team/john-doe');
    $newsArticle->author($person);

But I would like to set multiple authors. Is it possible to give an example on how to accomplish the following output with this library?
