Become a sponsor to Graphite
Graphite is on a mission to redefine state-of-the-art graphics editing and make it freely accessible to all. The software is a comprehensive 2D raster/vector graphics editor for artists, designers, and photographers with a unique node-based, fully non-destructive workflow. Made for hobbyists and professionals alike, Graphite is designed to flexibly do it all in one package: graphic design, vector illustration, photo editing, digital painting, desktop publishing, animation, VFX compositing, generative art, procedural texturing, data visualization, and more. All while staying open source and community-driven.
Development has progressed at remarkable speed with a small team. But the highly ambitious vision for Graphite requires an even faster pace as the project scope grows. Volunteering your time and skills by joining the team is one valuable way to help out. Giving a monthly (or one-off) contribution here is another. Your generous support will safeguard the sustainable, independent future of the Graphite project. Thank you.
FAQ
- Why not Patreon?
GitHub Sponsors takes zero commission— so 100% of your funds go straight to Graphite. It's quick to create an account on GitHub even if it's only for your sponsorship. Plus you can use that account to submit feature requests to Graphite. If you still prefer Patreon, PayPal, direct credit card billing, or another service, please take 30 seconds to send us an email so we know there's interest in those options (it would be really helpful to know). - How are the funds used?
Hosting and infrastructure, conferences, exhibitor booths at events, travel costs for team members, stickers/shirts, and legal/government fees for the organization. Graphite's founder, Keavon, has been footing the bill for these expenses out-of-pocket, while also working on Graphite full-time without salary— which isn't sustainable long-term. Your support goes towards offsetting that burden and keeping the project alive. Our goal is to hire full-time developers in the near future, although income will need to grow considerably before that's possible.
