Become a sponsor to Angel Leon
My name is Angel Leon, a software engineer originally from Venezuela in the US.
I've been doing opensource development for 15+ years mostly in the area of peer to peer networking, file sharing, and media playback apps for end-consumers.
I'm the founder and maintainer of FrostWire, initially a fork of the Gnutella network client LimeWire. I currently work on FrostWire in my free time.
Your sponsorship will be key to helping the FrostWire network integrate with newer peer to peer file sharing technologies to keep uncensorable access to digital content alive on the internet.
Funds will be used to continue working on the project, working with other teams, paying for hosting servers and bandwidth costs, certificate costs, possible graphic design work, acquiring new testing hardware (our Android app requires us to buy new popular phones every year to test with), to offer bounties to help parallelize the work and incentivize other developers to contribute to the project, and to help cover operational costs (software licenses, code signing certificates, SSL certificates, Apple Developer membership, multiple frostwire.* domain renewals)
