WireMock has added an official Spring Boot & WireMock integration.

Spring Cloud Contract WireMock assumes that you are using Spring Boot.

oh, right - so wiremock as standalone stub runner stays the same?

Yes, we're talking strictly about the Spring Cloud Contract WireMock module.
