Hi @natefinch and the Starlight community,

We'd like to introduce Starlight Enhanced, a fork of the original Starlight project aimed at breathing new life into this valuable tool. We were inspired by Starlight's potential and wanted to address the lack of recent updates and ensure compatibility with the latest versions of Starlark in Go.

Starlight Enhanced focuses on:

  • Bug fixes and enhancements: We've identified and resolved several issues present in the original repository, improving stability and functionality.
  • Extended capabilities: We've exposed additional functions and features, providing greater flexibility and power for your Starlark scripts.
  • Modernization: The codebase has been updated to work seamlessly with the latest Starlark in Go versions (with Go 1.18), ensuring ongoing compatibility.

We invite you to explore Starlight Enhanced and consider contributing to its development. We believe this fork can benefit the community by offering a robust and up-to-date solution for integrating Starlark into Go projects.

Check out Starlight Enhanced on GitHub: https://github.com/1set/starlight

We appreciate the foundation laid by @natefinch and the original Starlight contributors. We hope this fork continues to build upon that legacy and serve the community well.

Thank you!
