Javascript API

Hi Guys,

We run https://usebx.com and wanted to integrate physical card payments into our app, Bx. Bx is a PWA, so we require an in-browser API for this. Do you have or plan on delivering a Javascript API to process payments using your card reader?

Great stuff! We do provide a browser to SumUp app switch but there is no direct in browser to device connection available. Please see our Android API and iOS Callback URL repos for more info. If you wish to discuss further, please get in touch with [email protected]

@osrec We have same need for our custom cloud based pay desk solution.

Its same as f.ex. MyPOS offers (See Docs)

• Send Payment Request (Amount, Currency) to SumUp device through API
• Receive Success / Failure of Payment on Callback

The "status" could be temporary solved through GET /checkouts/{id}.

Especially with Sumup 3G its important that we are able to send Payment Requests straight to the device through the REST API without any ways through App / Bluetooth.

Hi Thomas Thanks for reaching out - Absolutely understand, this is unfortunately something SumUp currently does not offer for integration with the SumUp 3G. Nonetheless it's already on the to do list and we will get there! Sorry for the inconvenience. Kind regards James

Havent heard anything about this in a year.........
I'm very interested in such a solution.
We use the Solo Wifi and would very much have it integrated to our web based cash registrys.
