Why SvelteKit use querySelector in injected script? Why not getElementById?

I wonder why SvelteKit doesn't use getElmentById in the injected script? Lookup for ids is faster than querySelector. Since SvelteKit generate the hash for each document, there is less chance for collision. Like below:

Is there any technical reason not doing this? Just curios. Thanks.
