I'm just curious. Can you mix two animal sounds together using spectmorph or is that a limitation of the software you can only do instruments this would be great for sound design

SpectMorph currently needs constant pitch input sounds. Example: if you had a dog animal sound at frequency ~440 Hz and a cat animal sound at ~700 Hz, you could build a SpectMorph user defined instrument from each sound. Then you could morph the two sounds.
What would be problematic is if you had input sounds with frequency slides, i.e. a cat starting at ~700 Hz and sliding down to ~520 Hz, then you cannot build a user defined instrument from there, and you cannot morph. Maybe that is to be left for SpectMorph 2.0; SpectMorph 1.0 will not have significant improvements from the beta releases, and the spectral sound model SpectMorph 1.0 will use has to be backward compatible with everything back to the early releases.
