I've been trying to make a capacitor for a while, but every zinc sheet I produce is from the wrong modpack

Same issue. There is a work around in that reddit post but not easy for everyone to implement.

you can use a mod called polymorh basically it makes it so stuff with the same recipes can still be crafted

Came here to log this issue. Any updates on it?

Also, polymorph doesn't work on Create's crafting mechanics, only crafting table crafts. So there's no way to get the Create Deco version in survival at all.

It's the best fix for manual crafting, but you could try (untested) CraftTweaker
