Plugin 'HAL4' asked for time in nanoseconds (unsupported) #292
Comments
I think looking at the commit history, it may make sense to volunteer to try to solve this yourself. The simplest thing that could possibly work is finding the not implemented error and replacing it with code that always returns zero. I would be interested if Halion can deal with that. The most time consuming part of this sort of thing is setting up your machine to build the project. If you’re motivated to try this and run into issues, I’ll try to help. |
Hi William,
|
So the smtpe is not the problem. The preset format from Steinberg can not be loaded (VSTPreset). Will see if I can get that programmed into Mrs Watson... |
Did you get a resolution for this? |
At the end it was not the problem, so you can ignore this. Main issue was that loading a preset with halion is a bit special |
I see, but have you any way of fixing my problem which gives the same error text? |
No I do not have a way and did not find any fix there. I just ignored it. |
Hi there,
wanted to try out Mrs Watson with Halion 6, but I am getting the following Error and nothing is written to the output file:
W 00088064 005984 Plugin 'HAL4' asked for time in nanoseconds (unsupported)
UNSUPPORTED FEATURE: Current time in SMPTE format
UNSUPPORTED FEATURE: Sample frames until next clock
Configuration:
Windows 10 64Bit
Mrs Watson 0.9.7
Put all files (midi, vstpreset, halion) into the folder aside of EXE
64Bit VST 2.x Version
mrswatson64.exe --midi-file test.mid --output test.wav --plugin "halion 6.dll",test
Any Idea how I can deal with it?
Thanks a lot!
Best REgards
Phil
