How to help

If you have comments/requests/contributions, either open an issue, contact me, or tweet to @TheRealDod.

You can help:

• Developers: You can either help with existing issues, or improve whatever you want to improve. It is recommended to play with the app a bit and go over the [short] under the hood page before kicking the code around, but do what thou wilst ;)

• Graphics/GUI designers: I admit. I'm color blind and css-deaf. Bootstrap (and the Spacelab bootwatch) prevent this from looking too ugly, but it could use more profesional design.

  • If you can draw pretty pictures - please suggest a logo or a favicon.
  • If you also want to change the look/feel/functionality - CableWeaver is static html+js and doesn't require dependencies, compilation, configuration, etc. (see installing on your own server or home computer). If you know html/css, you can already do a lot (especially if you're familiar with bootstrap).
  • If you also know jquery - you can do even more.
  • If you're into d3 - the sky's the limit (and if - for example - you want to dump bootstrap and jquery altogether and do this pure-d3 - I have a feeling this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship).

• Journos and cable diggers: Please try the app, and see whether it helps you.

  You can also propose alternative bunches of MRNs for the example, or send me nice screenshots for the gallery :)
