I'll be using this at home, definitely a newbie, but i've been studying very hard. I'll do what i can, but i'm the same. You can never get enough time.

No problems. I'll say start by reading the code and running it. Understand it and slowly you'll get a hang of it. It is a good thing that you are thinking in terms of features of this app. Consider this app your gateway to the programming world. There is nothing satisfying in the world than writing your own app or adding features to someone's app.

And you never get time, you have to make it. I used to program till last year, now I am busy writing novels. Perhaps few years later I'll resume coding.
